I include myself in this headline.
An interesting take over on Slate.com, a liberal tilted publication, is that many of the new electees ran on the Lou Dobbs theme of protectionism, anti imigration, etc (I really wish Dobbs would take econ 101 given he holds himself out as a credible business journalist).
Bill Clinton aside, the Democrats have generally sided with the unions and Schurmer has been the biggest critic of China's peg. As bad as Bush has been for government spending the Dems could be worse for free trade. Cross your fingers.

well said, the protectionism thing is bad for us, the markets, shit everyone....i do hope these dumbasses free the borders and keep free trade going.
